Our Guide

CPR

Cooling the burn with water, covering it with a clean cloth, and seeking medical help if severe.

Care

Safty Precautions

Personal Safety First

Assess the environment: Before approaching the injured person, check for any hazards like traffic, fire, electrical wires, or other dangers that might put you at risk.
Wear protective gloves: If available, use disposable gloves to protect yourself from bloodborne pathogens or infections.

Protect the Injured Person

Ensure the person is in a safe location: Move them away from any dangers, if possible, without causing further injury.
Do not move them excessively: Only move them if their life is in immediate danger (e.g., from a fire or oncoming traffic).

Monitor the Person:

vitals: Monitor breathing, pulse, and consciousness level while waiting for help. Comfort and reassure: Stay with the person and offer emotional support until help arrives.

Use the Right First Aid Equipment:

well-stocked first aid kit: Familiarize yourself with the items in the kit and their proper usage. Use items correctly: For example, don’t use a tourniquet unless absolutely necessary.
